My Dinosaur Boy just turned three this year and I didn’t have to think much about the party theme – DINOSAURS!! Isn’t that obvious 😉
We didn’t plan on throwing a huge party or invite big gang, just birthday boy’s few friends with moms. And instead of a restaurant, home or any other indoor venue, I chose an open park. Which turned out to be perfect as the kids could run around, get their limbs moving, soak in Vitamin D and the weather was just favorable too.
I created dinosaur themed invite, display cards, thank you note.
Dinosaur Eggs – Anything round in shape – grapes, pomegranate, cherry tomato or any other kind of snack
Dinosaur Bones – I cut cucumber and carrots in thin long slices. Any other snack in similar shape would do.
Dinosaur Foot prints – On the way towards party spot
Dinosaur Drinks – Fruit juices and water
Feed the Dinosaur – I also prepared few other colorful snacks
Dinosaur Fruits – I had strawberries and bananas
Return Gift was obviously a Dinosaur 😉
Since our guests were aged between 2.5 – 3.5 years, i preferred to include more fruits and finger foods in the menu.
Few Dinosaur themed craft work or Dinosaur games can be included too.
I got bubble sticks for each child and of course a football is a must in a park.
